Introduction
Converse AI ("we", "our", or "the Service") provides AI-powered voice agent tools for businesses. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our platform and related services.
Information We Collect
Account information
When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials through our authentication provider (Clerk). If you connect a Google account, we receive an OAuth token scoped to Google Calendar so appointment bookings can be created on your behalf.
Business data
You may provide a restaurant or business name, phone numbers, agent configurations, system prompts, order data, appointment records, and call logs. This data is stored in our database and used solely to operate the Service.
Voice & call data
AI voice calls are processed through Retell AI. Call recordings and transcripts may be stored by Retell in accordance with their privacy policy. We store call metadata (duration, status, timestamps) to provide call history and analytics.
Usage data
We may collect standard web analytics data such as pages visited, browser type, and IP address to improve the Service.
How We Use Your Information

- Authenticate your identity and secure your account
- Create calendar events on your connected Google Calendar
- Display call logs, order history, and analytics
- Send transactional notifications you opted into
- Improve and develop new features

Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account through the Settings page, we remove your profile, agents, orders, and call logs from our database. Residual data in third-party services (e.g. Retell call recordings) is subject to their retention policies.
Data Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication tokens, and role-based access controls on our database. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights
- Access and update your profile information through the dashboard
- Disconnect your Google Calendar integration at any time
- Delete your account and associated data from Settings
- Contact us to request data export or ask questions about your data
Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
